Best towels

THESE are the towels I remember and love! I hate soft towels, because soft towels don't feel like they're actually working to dry you off. The slightly rougher feel these towels have provide the perfect sensation for people like me who like slightly abrasive towels like we had back in the day. The majority of companies that make towels market how soft and gentle they are, neglecting the market segment with needs only prior servicemembers can understand.

A Quality Later Version

This towel definitely meets a high quality standard for 100% cotton in terry cloth. Only it's a darker desert shade than what I was issued in '90 before and during my deployment.
