How long are nametapes?
Nametapes are going to be 5 and ¼ inches long by 1 inch high. The only color nametapes that vary are New and Old Navy Digital, and Desert Sand which are 1 ¼ inches tall. We can make the nametape smaller, taking into account that the shorter the nametape is, the more squeezed the letters become.
How long are nametape keychains?
Keychains will be around 6 inches long.
How many letters can I get on a nametape?
You can get a nametape with up to or more than 20 letters, with keeping in mind that the more letters you have the skinnier and closer together the letters will be.
Can I get a nametape with lowercase letters?
We can do lowercase letters if specifically asked, though lowercase letters with tails hanging down will have to be adjusted and may look different. The Letters P, Q and G will decrease the height of the letters if left lower case. If order is in all caps, and still contains the letter Q, the name will be slightly smaller in height.
Can I get a military nametape without being military?
Of course! All out nametape and thread colors are available to everyone.
Can I get anything embroidered onto a nametape?
You can, though there are certain instances where we may intervene and cancel an order that uses targeted and derogatory language.
How much do nametapes cost?
$4.95 For a sew-on plus shipping or $6.95 for a nametape with the hook fastener added.
What is Hook Fastener?
"Hook fastener" is a type of closure system that uses two opposing strips, one with tiny hooks and the other with soft loops. When pressed together, the hooks and loops interlock, providing a secure and reusable hold.
What is the turnaround time on Nametape orders?
Online orders typically take 24-48 hour to make then it would depend on the type of shipping chosen. In store orders typically take 24 hours depending on current work load of sewing department.
Do you take orders over the phone?
Unfortunately we cannot take orders over the phone, but you can choose the “in store pick up” option online.

My OCP nametape looks faded, why is that?
In Nov of 2020 the Army switched to using the 3 color OCP Pattern as this is the current standard it is our default OCP pattern. While both 3 and 7 color are authorized for wear by the Army, Air Force, and Space Force; the 7 color has been mostly phased out and the material is harder to come by.
