The 69th Infantry Regiment has fought bravely in four major wars, the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Iraq War—and has participated in 23 campaigns. Today, the regiment continues its service as part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 42nd Infantry Division, with its headquarters at the 69th Regiment Armory in Manhattan.
