The medal was first intended to be a "blanket campaign medal" awarded to service members who served honorably during a designated time period of which a "national emergency" had been declared during a time of war or conflict. It may also be issued to active military members for any other period that the Secretary of Defense designates. Currently, the National Defense Service Medal is the oldest service medal in use by the United States Armed Forces. The oldest continuously issued combat medal is the Medal of Honor. Returns
Bradley's has a 30-day return policy, meaning you may return your items in that time period, as long as they are in the same condition that they were received (if you received a new item that item must be returned to us unworn). If you have a domestic return we will email you a pre-paid return label to send the item back to us. We do not however issue refunds for return shipping that we have not provided. We also do not accept returns on custom items.
